Oh Wow!…Its been ages since i last submitted a post! I apologize. Honestly, the end of 2015 and the beginning of 2016 was pretty hectic for me, as my sister decided to leave the single club and tie the knot! Whoop! Weddings are stressful, just by the way. But it was a magical moment, definitely! You know what…ill dedicate a post just to that later on. But for now….2016.

So at the end of every year, on the 31st day of December, growing up you were taught to make new years resolutions. I have done that religiously for 23 years of my life. But note this; the thing with new years resolutions is that by mid march, you’ve totally forgotten about them and you’re moving on with your lives. Lol yeah most of us dont even get halfway through the year LOL.

But this year…..

This year i (have) decided to do something different. This year, i decided to leave all to God! Whatever He wants is best. Actually, this was a conversation i had with a friend on the 1st of January on this issue……..

[1/1/2016, 04:46] ME: Because I’ve been trying with my own strength for years
[1/1/2016, 04:46] ME: And clearly it ain’t working
[1/1/2016, 04:46] FRIEND: I have realised shit never happens if you do not leave to Him lilian
[1/1/2016, 04:47] ME: So I’ve dropped all the cards and I’ve left it all to Him
[1/1/2016, 04:47] ME Yeah o
[1/1/2016, 04:47] ME: But it’s good we’ve realised now than later
[1/1/2016, 04:47] FRIEND: Like we always says new year I will do this and that but we never just leave things to him

If you’re like me and you do this new year resolution thing as well and it always fails, heed to my advice, leave it to GOD, for it actually feels better knowing you’ve entrusted it all to HIM, for HE knows the plans HE has for us.

P.S…….Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.
