I’m not sure if I’m the only one who’s realised this, but lately if you go on your Facebook, Snapchat, twitter, Instagram, there’s just posts all over the place about Christ, and His love for us, His children.. Etc. The end is near. Like so close.
Oh, I am one of the many Christians who are actively, publicly sharing their faith all over social media. I just want to share a few of my experiences with you. So first of all, if you’re not aware of this already, I’m letting you know now…. The Christian walk is not a breeze, it’s not all fun and games, it really isn’t peaches and cream. NO!
One thing I have learned from experience is that, it takes a lot of sacrifice and a lot of changes in your ‘old’ life. You will lose friends, best friends, boyfriends, girlfriends, bosom cronies,… You name it. Not everyone you started with will stay through it all; you probably hear this often, but I’m here to let you know it’s no lie. It’s the truth. I am experiencing that now, and its not easy. You will want to find a way to keep them, but no matter what you do, once they are not destined to remain in this chapter of your life, you cannot do anything!
Honestly, after this purging occurs, you will then begin to see and experience growth.. Spiritual, mental, among others. And it’s a much much better feeling.
