“Petit a petit, l’oiseau fait son nid”

After coming out of what truly seemed like hell with college

I found my purpose. To create a space where there is more representation of black women in STEM fields, and to help mentor young women to gain more interest in STEM fields, while encouraging them not to give up no matter how tough it gets.

To the young woman in stem,

The opportunities are endless, don’t be intimidated. Keep your head up!  You Were Made For This 🤍

Do not settle...

Being one of two black women in almost all my college classes, it was a bit intimidating at times and I couldn’t help but shrink myself. But the greatest gift I had was having a mentor, and being exposed to all the information that was available.
